In the early 1900's in New York City, partaking of the decadent night life was described as The Sporting Life.

Eddie Harris is sent to Bangkok to finish a computer installation in the US Embassy. His boss joins him to supervise the project. They visit bars, massage parlors and gogo bars to experience the bawdy nightlife of the most vibrant city in the world.

Eddie is completely unprepared for the culture shock that is South East Asia where nothing is as it seems. Eddie struggles with questions of morality and the grey areas between right and wrong.

If you have never been to Bangkok, The Bangkok Sporting Club reads like a travel guide for adults. BSC is an adventure thriller that includes pimps, prostitutes, street touts and good people caught in a bad situation just trying to make it through another day.
